An eight-week session to teach basic sewing skills. Runs a few times through the year. Child care is provided. See the Sewing Class page.
Small Group Ministry
Several small groups have been started in an effort to ensure that nobody at ELAM stands alone. These groups of six to twelve people meet regularly in a nurturing environment for fellowship, prayer, and Bible study to grow together as the body of Christ, foster a sense of community and get to know fellow parishioners.
Special Educational Series
Special educational series may be held occasionally throughout the year especially during Lent or Advent seasons. These series may involve Bible or book studies, courses regarding aspects of church life and more. Information will be in the Sunday bulletin prior to any series start.
Theology Student Placements & Support Groups
ELAM often hosts theological students to assist them in their training to become a member of clergy. Parish members are chosen to become members of Support Groups for the students while they are at ELAM.
Sunday School Classes & Co-op Nursery
Sunday School and the Co-op Nursery start following the Children’s Focus during the 10:00 am service. Children from birth to age 17 are welcome to attend classes in the parish hall. The Nursery is located on the right once you enter the hall (parents are required to be helpers on a rotating schedule). Regular classes start in September and end in June. See the Ministry to Children & Youth page.
Morning Bible Camp
This is a week-long event, held every August and open to the youth and children from ELAM and the community. See the Ministry to Children & Youth page.
