Ministries and Programs
Ministries and programs are the heart of our church. Every Sunday, we bring the world into our church; every day our mission -- our Great Commission --
is to take the church into the world.
Because of our ministries and programs, children in London and in other countries who live in poverty receive Christmas presents, people receive a good breakfast and fellowship each month, women and children at the nearby shelter for abused women have slept under warm quilts and taken a break at a picnic table, people recovering from illnesses have been wrapped in shawls made with skilled hands and prayerful words. God is working in us and through us, doing more than we could possibly ask or imagine. No gift is too small, no gesture too meaningless, no effort wasted.
At ELAM, we set up our ministries and programs in four categories: Care & Compassion, Building Community, Outreach, and Teaching & Learning.
